As we just came back from a long road trip through South Carolina, Florida, as well as up to Northern parts of Ontario (and everywhere in between). We are sorry to say this...but DAM! Can someone please have a positive outlook on the golf industry. It was like we were talking to the living dead. Yes economy has slowed down, and yes it seems that golfers are just not playing as much as they used to. But......
With all that time driving it got us thinking. As you know (and if you don't - you do now). We provide a GPS solutions that helps your golf facility (with little money out of your pocket) generate an ongoing revenue as well as we work with you to market it, help you generate a list of your customers, etc. etc. Now enough of the sales pitch.
What we have noticed is that it doesn't matter what solution, product or service someone brings to your club. And our hope is that you get this without us sounding all high and mighty....YOU are the only person who can take your golf club where it needs to go. There is no product, solutions, service, or whatever that will build your golf club for you. Sure we can show you cool stuff that can help you and your golf club, but in simple terms "Stop Screwing Around And Expect Someone Else To Save Your Club".
Its all about EFFORT (from YOU)...or should I say "Educated Effort”. Find the right information, get access to the right resources and with YOUR EDUCATED EFFORT nothing can stop you.
The simple fact remains that’s only 25% of what you need is a product, solution or service offering.
You still need throw in 25% effort, 25% determination, and 25% sticktoitiveness.
…And that’s the 75% that YOU and ONLY YOU can provide!
The golf business can be exciting and scary and fun and profitable all at the same time. If YOU allow it to.
